Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager with a strong background in water infrastructure projects to lead all commissioning activities for the Eyre Peninsula project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage commissioning activities for water infrastructure projects, including desalination, wastewater, and industrial water treatment plants.
* Oversee planning, execution, and documentation of commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
* Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless transition from construction to operation.
* Supervise MEICA systems commissioning.
* Manage start-up procedures, performance testing, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems.
* Provide technical assistance and training to operations staff.
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
* Support tender preparation, including technical input, methodology, commissioning strategies, and resource planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 15 years of experience in water infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in commissioning management roles.
* Hands-on experience managing subcontractors.
* Previous exposure to water infrastructure projects.
* Proven experience with shutdowns, commissioning, and on-site coordination.
* Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong understanding of automation and control systems.
* Experience in tendering and project delivery within water infrastructure.
* Willingness and ability to travel across Australia as required.
