The purpose of the Principal Communication Advisor is to provide professional, strategic end-to-end communication management, support and advice to a wide range of internal and external clients within a complex environment. You will also support the CIO to develop and implement communication initiatives that meet the current and future needs of the Information Technology Branch.
**Some of your responsibilities will include**: - providing strategic advice and assistance to support the CIO in meeting agreed communication goals and outcomes
- influencing behavioural change within the department through developing targeted communication strategies and campaigns
- providing strategic communication advice to support effective change management and project delivery
- managing the development, production and delivery of branch-wide communication tactics including electronic media, face-to-face communication, communication training, staff newsletter, events, meetings and printed materials
- managing the branch's online presence (branch intranet and Information Technology site on TMR intranet), including enhancements to support business objectives while ensuring sites meet TMR intranet governance requirements.
