Primary Teacher
A 12-month temporary position, 0.9 FTE.
Maitland Christian School is experiencing rapid growth in quality and reputation within the local community. Student numbers, organisational capacity, and facilities are expanding.
We seek passionate and talented Christian educators for a Primary classroom teacher in 2025. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will be appointed to our staff, commencing duties at the start of Term Two 2025, on a 9-day fortnight schedule.
The school has an excellent name in the local community, with exciting developments underway. Planned building projects will enhance the learning environments.

* Willingness to learn, grow, and be coached in delivering high-quality Christian education;
* Well-developed communication, administration, and interpersonal skills;
* The capacity to develop transformational Christian education integrated into the curriculum and delivered with an increasing missional focus;
* Experience in teaching literacy and numeracy using evidence-based practices;
* Excitement about being instructionally coached to improve student learning outcomes;
* An understanding of supporting students with learning diagnoses in a mainstream classroom environment;
* The ability to work within a strengths-based framework.
