Job Opportunity: Mechanical Supervisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical supervisor to lead our structural integrity and remediation projects in Perth, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day site operations and management of the team
* Maintain site productivity levels aligned with project timelines
* Foster a culture of safe work practices among team members
* Coordinate setup and pack up of site activities, including pre-start and toolbox meetings
* Collaborate with employees and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Liaise closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects run smoothly
* Complete quality assurance and health, safety, and environment paperwork
About You:
* Prior experience in construction and remediation industry, preferably on structural integrity projects
* Proven track record of supervising teams of skilled tradesmen
* S26 supervisor training - preferred
* White card and current driver's license
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
* Able to obtain a police clearance
* Mechanical or fabrication trade certificate and/or relevant construction qualifications
* Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and influencing skills
* Demonstrated understanding of established safety policies and guidelines
