What you'll be doing This position is for a Senior Dental Officer in charge of oral health services in an SNSWLHD cluster.
Responsibilities include coordination and line management of staff and clinical services, clinical workload, leadership, management, education and administration of the cluster dental clinics, and ensuring the implementation and ongoing monitoring of state and local district policies and work practices.

Selection Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist with extensive experience in general and advanced dentistry; proven ability to manage complex procedures and difficult situations.Demonstrated leadership and direction of multi-disciplinary oral health teams.Knowledge of operational service planning principles to ensure efficient and effective oral health service provision.Experience as a member of an oral health management team.Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to resolve complaints.Knowledge of quality improvement, NSQHS accreditation standards, and healthcare quality practices.Experience supervising oral health teams with HR practices including equity and safety.Current driver's license and willingness to travel long distances and possible overnight stays.
