Temporary EAL/D Teacher Position
We seek an experienced EAL/D teacher for a temporary role commencing Term 1, 2025.
About the Position
* The successful candidate will replace a staff member on leave until the end of Term 3.
Key Responsibilities
1. EAL/D Expertise: Provide EAL/D expertise for teachers K - 6 teaching multilingual students.
2. Collaboration: Collaborate with the EAL/D team to assess students and provide in-class and withdrawal support.
3. Program Development: Develop and apply programs, tools, and resources that scaffold the NSW Curriculum for EAL/D students.
Requirements
* Teaching Experience: Proven teaching experience in K - 6.
* EAL/D Expertise: Significant experience in teaching EAL/D students.
* TESOL Studies: TESOL studies or language-related postgraduate qualification.
* Flexible Approach: A flexible and collegial approach is essential.
