On behalf of a growing and forward-thinking private practice healthcare provider, specialising in gastroenterology, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives across Greater Melbourne.
This newly created role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, and consulting medical specialists within the practice that provide medical services throughout the state and influence the future direction of one of Victoria's most progressive healthcare groups.
The organisation has recently launched a groundbreaking mobile diagnostic division, delivering specialist-led testing and treatments directly to patients' homes—adding to their already well-established clinical services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient access, building long-term referral networks, and driving commercial success. Their target market is the mainly primary care sector and allied healthcare sector - relying on General Practice (GPs) to refer patients seeking gastroenterological treatment to the private practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage general practitioners, specialists, clinics, and hospital networks across Victoria.
* Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities and referral partnerships.
* Lead business development efforts for the organisation's newly launched mobile diagnostics division, expanding reach and awareness.
* Represent the clinic at relevant industry events, meetings, and forums to enhance market presence.
* Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding of new specialists and to ensure a smooth patient journey.
* Oversee marketing activities such as newsletters, digital campaigns, and video content aligned with growth targets.
* Provide regular reporting on KPIs, business activity, and strategic outcomes.
* Manage budgets, contracts, and a small team of outreach and administrative support staff.
About You:
* A minimum of 3+ years in business development, key account management, or stakeholder engagement within healthcare services, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or other aligned sectors
* Proven success developing B2B relationships with healthcare professionals and referrers.
* Self-motivated, commercially savvy, and skilled in managing complex stakeholder environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working autonomously within a hybrid model.
What's on Offer:
* Base salary from $100,000 - $120,000 plus superannuation
* Reimbursement of vehicle expenses incurred in Melbourne
