Principal DevOps Engineer (SAS Specialist)

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer (SAS Specialist) to join our Government Client team.
Role responsibilities
* Extensive hands-on experience with SAS Visual Investigator, AWS infrastructure, and services, with proven ability to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions.
* Develop and customize SAS Visual Investigator data models, workflows, entities, and rules to support investigative case management.
* Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management. Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest structured and unstructured data into the SAS Visual Investigator platform.
* Integrate external data sources and APIs with SAS Visual Investigator for entity resolution, alert generation, and case enrichment. Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control for SAS projects and configuration files.
* Ability to write and maintain moderately complex code across multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, and Golang.
* In-depth experience with containerization, cluster deployment, and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient application delivery and management.
Skills
* Experience with database deployment and administration, particularly with Postgres and MySQL, for efficient data management and performance optimization.
* Proficiency in administering Azure infrastructure, expanding multi-cloud capabilities alongside AWS.
* Monitor and troubleshoot system health, logs, and performance using SAS tools.
* Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for securing sensitive data and managing secrets across cloud infrastructure.
