Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX). 4 years of experience interacting with clients/leadership and owning projects. Experience in designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in designing for consumer-facing products. Experience with motion design and quick prototyping (e.g., principle, framer etc.). Knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile (e.g., Android and web). Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence product design strategy. Excellent problem-solving and visual design skills. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products. As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products. Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user. Responsibilities Drive UX design for key sharing flows and establish partnerships with third-party apps. Translate user needs into compelling designs through user journeys, storyboards, low/high-fidelity mockups, detailed interaction specifications, and interactive prototypes. Collaborate with Google Photos and other Google Product teams across time zones to develop solutions. Simplify concepts into relatable narratives that represent real user experiences. Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
