Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to operate farm machinery, including tractors and implements, to support farm activities.
This position is available in a rural setting for a family farming business that has been in operation for over 75 years.
We are seeking 10 candidates to fill the positions available. The roles include but are not limited to:
1. Safely operating tractors and attaching various farm implements to support farm activities.
2. Conducting essential pre-start checks to ensure machinery runs smoothly.
3. Performing routine maintenance on tractors and equipment to keep everything in top condition.
4. Applying chemical treatments and fertilisers.
5. Reporting any machine or equipment faults directly to the Workshop Maintenance team.
6. Following and promoting Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
7. Taking on ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Farm Manager.
This is a fixed term position for a minimum of 9 months starting from June 2025.
