My Supports is an organisation led by people with firsthand experience in disability. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll join a vibrant local Neighbourhood Team with a close-knit group of fellow support workers, all led by an experienced Team Leader.
Our Team Leaders offer day-to-day support and guidance, collaborating with you to understand our clients' needs. This approach helps us deliver person-centred, community-inclusive supports.
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our Wanneroo Team. Successful applicants will be working in a casual role, providing essential support to clients in their homes and community.
This particular role involves supporting a client who requires 24/7 care. Along with portions of the day at 2:1 for morning and evening routines, Overnight Inactive sleep shifts. HIDPA Training is desirable. The client is hard of hearing, so clear English communication is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care.
- Assisting with the Transition living back at home.
- Helping the Client Navigate new life challenges.
- Promoting independence, self-image and confidence.
- Providing social and community participation support.
- Transporting clients to appointments and community activities.
- Maintaining accurate daily reporting.
- Assisting with Physio and OT Programs
Role Details

Requirements
- Permanent Australian Working Rights (Preferred)
- Australian Driver\'s Licence (Preferred)
- Comprehensive Car Insurance (Required upon commencement)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Required upon commencement)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required upon commencement)
