As part of our continued commitment to excellence, we are seeking dynamic and organized individual to join us in the role of Medical Receptionist.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in an administration and or customer service role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations with poise.
* Proficiency in office software and systems.
* Proficiency in typing, speed and accuracy.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Ability to work with a high level of professionalism.
* Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment.
* Ability to multi-task in busy periods.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanour.
* Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of medical staff's time.
* Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information to patients with professionalism and courtesy.
* Verify patient information and health card details accurately.
* Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records.
* Liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner.
* Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and other office duties.
* Open and close practice (beginning and end of day procedures).
* Keep up to date with changes as directed from management.
