Job Location:
Play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating mechanical engineering projects, overseeing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting client requirements.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design
2. Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
3. Coordinate designs and drafts people
4. Review progress and schedule
5. Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Designpolicies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements
Education and Experience:
6. Industry related higher education degree
7. At least 5 years of minerals process plant design experience
8. Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
9. Engineering delivery experience
10. Work in a team environment. Allocate work to others and monitor the progress thereof
Skills and Abilities
11. High level communication skills – written and verbal
12. Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
13. Ability to produce study estimates
14. Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
15. Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
16. Knowledge of databases and version control
17. Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
18. Extensive industry contacts and ability to win confidence of Clients through business development
19. Willingness to travel if required
