Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is seeking an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to provide high‐level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director – Operations.
This pivotal role requires exceptional judgement, discretion, organisation and communication skills. You will support complex operational priorities while managing sensitive information and maintaining effective relationships across the District and external stakeholders.
The role is challenging and plays a proactive integral part in ensuring administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner. This will require experience in communicating clearly and professionally with diverse audiences both internally and externally. This is a position where two days are never the same, and will see you manage complex diary arrangements, scheduling, travel and meeting coordination, prepare correspondence, briefing notes, agendas, minutes and reports to a high standard, and act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Executives and Government Agencies.

What you will bring to the role:
* Consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism and behaviours that actively reinforce the CORE Values of NBMLHD with all stakeholders. * Extensive experience in a high level administrative and secretarial support, including managing complex workflows, coordinating executive communications, and providing reliable, efficient assistance within a fast paced and demanding environment.
* 3.Superior verbal and written communication skills, complemented by strong interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation capabilities that enable effective engagement with diverse stakeholders and support productive, solution focused interactions.
* Proven ability to problem solve effectively, prioritise competing workloads, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently to respond, adapt and cope with changing demands in a multidisciplinary work environment ensuring consistent support regardless of shifting priorities.
* 6Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining strict confidentially of sensitive information and work in a high-pressure environment with competing work demands.
* High level information technology and systems skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook with attention to detail.
* Extensive experience using electronic records management systems, including Content Manager (HPRM) with a strong understanding of records governance requirements and practical experience working with NSW Health and State Archives processes and standards.
