Business Development Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive quotes for construction projects, building and pursuing new business opportunities, and developing new markets.
* Responsible for providing accurate and competitive quotes for construction projects.
* Build and pursue new business opportunities and develop new markets.
* Networking is a huge part of the role, connecting with Contractors, Architects, Facility Managers, Property Managers, Strata Managers, and Government bodies.
* Working closely with clients, Engineers, and subcontractors, you will analyse project specifications, conduct cost analysis, and prepare detailed Quotations and estimates.
* Meeting and exceeding KPI's and quarterly targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a sales hunter mentality, previous experience as a B2B Sales Representative within the construction industry, and strong technical knowledge of building materials, methods, and processes.
* Sales hunter mentality is a MUST.
* Previous experience as a B2B Sales Representative within the construction industry.
* Carpenter by trade or knowledge in the industry is advantageous.
* Strong at building relationships with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Estimating software experience.
* Can work autonomously and generate new leads to achieve sales targets.
* A valid driver's license.
