As part of their growing team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping commercial decisions, driving performance insights, and helping guide a fast-scaling business from the inside out. If you live and breathe numbers, then we want to talk to you. We are looking for a well-balanced Management Accountant to manage core accounting functions while providing sharp financial insights that drive business decisions.
You’ll also oversee these activities within an international corporate structure, giving you exposure to global operations. This is an prospect for a high-performing and detail-oriented individual to shape the next chapter of the company as it pioneers the gaming industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Insights: Build budgets, forecasts and models that inform strategic decision-making.
- Explain the Why: Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary that highlights performance drivers.
- Think Global: Manage accounting and reporting across an international corporate structure.
- Own the Numbers: Manage day-to-day accounting functions including journals, reconciliations and month-end close.
- Pay it Forward: Process accounts payable and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Keep Us Compliant: Prepare financial statements in line with Australian Accounting Standards and CPA requirements.
What You Need to Succeed:
- CPA qualified with proven accounting and financial analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in Xero accounting software.
- Track record of balancing transactional accounting with higher-level financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify financial insights.
- Experience in gaming, wagering or tech industries (preferred).
- Comfortable working within international entities and cross-border operations.
