About You
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing excellent care and support to our clients. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of others. You will help clients with daily activities and personal care, including assistance with housekeeping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and transport to appointments. Experience in home care is desirable.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal prep, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing and helping at mealtimes.
* Providing transport for clients to attend appointments, shopping trips or social activities.
* At times, supporting clients with cognitive impairments and always maintaining their dignity and comfort.
* Promoting client independence and well-being through compassionate care.
Our ideal candidate will be available 3 days per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm. You will be able to pick up additional shifts to assist our team in covering personal and annual leave. This role is perfect for school hours if this is your preference
Requirements:
* Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
* Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
* Reliable transport (your own registered and insured vehicle) for travel to clients' homes.
* Completion of a National Police Record Clearance.
* Proof of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
