We are seeking a dedicated and reliable mechanic. If you have experience and are looking to further your career in the agricultural heavy machinery industry, we would love to hear from you!
Position overview:
* Repair, assemble and service new and used trucks, tractors, headers and machinery as per workshop requirements.
* Undertake servicing maintenance and repairs to all machinery (truck and ag) and equipment as directed in the workshop and on site.
* Manage and maintain service records for machinery.
* Provide technical advise regarding specifications and assessments to customers as required
* Liaise with the spare parts department
* Adhere to work compliance in accordance with industry standards
* Collaborate with other staff on jobs to assist with the success of efficiency in the workshop.
* Some travel required for onsite maintenance.
Key requirements;
* Trade qualified as mechanic and/or equivalent - Agricultural Preferred, however Light & Heavy Vehicle trade qualifications & 3rd year apprentices are encouraged to apply
* Must have own basic tools.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills; be self motivated & a team player
* Manual car license and reliable vehicle a must
