Key Responsibilities:
* Lead tender and bid processes from documentation through analysis and reporting.
* Analyse bids to ensure best value outcomes for clients.
* Prepare cost plans, estimates, valuations, and cost reports.
* Manage project budgets and clearly communicate variations to stakeholders.
* Support final account negotiations and claims resolution.
* Produce clear cost documentation to drive timely, informed project decisions.
* Mentor and develop junior team members to foster growth and excellence.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy environment.
* Expertise in pre- and post-contract cost management across diverse projects.
* Chartered (MRICS/AIQS) or working towards completion—full support provided.
* Strong communication and client-facing skills, with a focus on relationships.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
