EL1 HR Assistant Director vacancy in a collaborative and responsive team.

**Your new role**
As the Assistant Director you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all HR management functions including payroll, WH&S, performance, policy development and implementation, reporting and process management. Your duties will include a variety inclusive of but not limited to;
- Manage provision of quality HR services and programs
- Provide support and advice to the Executive steam and staff in relation to HR management strategies, workforce planning and Enterprise Agreement
- Providing high-level strategic advice and policy direction on HR issues such as; performance, payroll, WH&S, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development
- Overseeing HR policies, programs, and procedures are aligning to divisional priorities and objectives
- Conduct extensive effective and collaborative stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally
- Leading the implementation of best practice approaches to develop capabilities and increase operational effectiveness
- Providing regular reporting and strategic advice to executive leadership team
**What you'll need to succeed**
Along with your experience working in a senior HR position, you will have a high level of initiative, judgement, and leadership skills. In addition to this you will also have:
- Ability to provide high level advice on complex matters to senior stakeholders
- Manage and prioritise large volumes of work and contribute to process improvements
- High level decision making skills and ability to solve complex issues
- Be collaborative and high level interpersonal skills in managing diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional leadership skills and experience
