We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Foodbuy team, based in Adelaide. This role will involve being a key point of contact for internal & external customers, focusing on supply chain matters.
Main duties include:
* Acting as an intermediary between operators, the purchasing department, and the E-Business team
* Sourcing and providing quotes in a timely manner to support the sales process
* Providing logistics support and resolving supply issues
* Evaluating suppliers' cost of goods, logistics, quality, and overall service
* Influencing unit managers to understand the strategic direction of supply chain and the purchasing process
* Ensuring suppliers meet company policy requirements
* Conducting desktop audits on key suppliers periodically
* Completing monthly reports, including invoice price checks, site compliance, and training on systems
* Managing an Excel-based catalogue
A successful candidate will have:
* Foodservice experience with a demonstrated background in operations
* Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to analyze situations and problem-solve
* Experience in customer service roles
* Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain (desirable)
