Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Refrigerated Transport Operators to join our team in Wodonga and Melbourne.
This is a full-time role based around refrigerated transport operations, requiring individuals with strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in refrigerated transport or a similar heavy vehicle driving role, along with a current Multi Combination License (MC) and the ability to operate and maintain refrigeration equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate and maintain refrigerated trucks to transport perishable goods across regional and metropolitan routes
* Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all relevant road traffic regulations
* Monitor and maintain the temperature of the refrigeration unit to preserve the quality of transported goods
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any vehicle issues
* Load and unload trucks, including the use of pallet jacks and other equipment
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in refrigerated transport or a similar heavy vehicle driving role
* Current Multi Combination License (MC)
* Current Police Check and Medical or willingness to achieve
* Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices
* Ability to operate and maintain refrigeration equipment
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to safety and a clean driving record
* Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
