About the team –
Residences team ensures the delivery of the accommodation facilities, comprising the Residence of Champions and Athletes Village complexes. Residences cater for groups of all sizes including short/long-stay residents from the high-performance sector and cater for other guests and groups from sports in general. The team is inclusive, supportive and growth-focused – which creates a fun, collaborative environment where strong teamwork and high standards drive an exceptional guest experience.
The Residence of Champions incorporates the AIS Dining Hall serving athletes and other guests healthy meals designed by AIS nutritionists and prepared by catering contract partner. These businesses help to deliver consistent and sustainable success for Australian athletes and teams, drive demand for lifelong participation in sport and optimise revenue generation.
About the role –
Provide front-office and dining services that deliver a seamless and positive experience for all short-term and long-term residents, guests and visitors of the AIS Residences. These services should reflect quality hotel standards, prioritising excellent guest experience, responsiveness, professionalism and consistency, and be delivered in accordance with established operational systems.
About you –
The successful candidate will have:
* Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional guest and customer service in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on professionalism, responsiveness and creating positive, memorable experiences.
* Two or more year's consistent and sound hospitality/retail experience working within a high volume, fast-paced environment, or equivalent.
* Experience in using property management computer systems or similar. Demonstrated experience handling reservations, multiple customer inquiries or systems.
This position is offered as a CASUAL position.
