**About the Role**
Melbourne Refrigeration Services is seeking a qualified HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to become a part of our team in Melbourne, VIC, and its surrounding suburbs. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The technician will work with a diverse array of commercial clients, ensuring that their systems operate efficiently and reliably.
**What you'll be doing**
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues in various refrigeration equipment, which includes cold rooms, freezer rooms, cabinet systems, ice machines, and more.
- Ensure that all tasks are executed to a high standard, adhering to relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance work completed and parts utilised.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while effectively communicating with clients.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, approximately every six weeks.
**Qualifications and Experience Required**
**Restricted Electrical License (Class 1)**:A Restricted Electrical License (Class 1) is required, which allows the technician to perform specific electrical work related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards.
**Technical Knowledge**:Applicants must have excellent technical knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems and their components. This includes an understanding of how different systems operate, their design principles, and the latest technologies in the field.
**Customer Service Orientation**:A strong customer service orientation is essential.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
