About Us: We are seeking dedicated support workers to assist participants in our group home/SIL located in Central Coast. We are committed to providing compassionate care and support to help our clients live independently and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care including showering, dressing, and grooming for participants.
Maintain a clean and organized home environment through domestic assistance.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to participants' dietary needs.
Foster collaboration and effective communication with participants' families and healthcare providers.
Assist with medication management and provide timely prompts as required.
Keep detailed and accurate progress notes to track participants' development and well-being.
Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance participants' quality of life.
Assist participants with transfers, transportation, and community access activities.
Organize engaging activities and support participants in pursuing their interests.
Provide regular reports to the head office in Sydney and the house manager.
Requirements:
Legal rights to work in Australia.
experience in Aged Care or Disability sector (minimum 6 month)
Certification in Manual Handling and Medication Administration.
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Valid Driver’s License.
Working with Children check.
Current Police Check.
Qualification in Disability or relevant field.
