As an
In Work Support Officer
, you'll focus on helping participants succeed once they've started a job, ensuring they have the tools, support and confidence to sustain their employment and grow their careers.
About The Role
 * Provide tailored support to participants and employers to address issues that may affect ongoing employment
 * Maintain regular face-to-face contact with participants to monitor progress and provide vocational guidance
 * Develop and review Employment goals that reflect on-the-job training and support needs
 * Assist with workplace adjustments, assessments or modifications as required
 * Refer participants to services to address non-vocational barriers to ongoing work
 * Maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes and compliance records
 * Contribute to continuous improvement of the program and a participant-first culture
About you
 * Passionate about supporting people with disability or disadvantage to thrive in employment
 * Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with participants and employers
 * Organised, proactive and adaptable with excellent time management skills
 * Knowledge of employee/employer rights, WHS and vocational/non-vocational support needs
 * Tech-savvy and confident in administration and compliance systems
Skills & Experience
Essential
 * Previous experience in employment services, recruitment or a related support role
 * Demonstrated ability to develop and implement plans to help people sustain employment
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Current driver's licence
Desirable
 * Qualification in Community Services, Disability, or Training & Assessment
 * Experience in disability support or related human services
 * Knowledge of the local labour market
