Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) fixed term basis.
We are seeking an accredited Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar to join our multidisciplinary Women’s Health team. This role provides high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care under consultant supervision, contributing to clinical assessment, management, and continuity of care for patients across inpatients, outpatient and birthing environments. The position plays a key role in supporting junior medical staff and medical students, with opportunities for tailored clinical experience based on the applicants’ training needs and career direction.

The role of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar is to:
* Deliver day-to-day medical care for obstetrics and gynaecology patients under supervision, ensuring timely assessment, appropriate investigations, and safe clinical decision-making.
* Attend gynaecology clinics and support coordination of care by working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across the O&G unit.
* Provide clear, accurate clinical communication and handover, escalating care issues to consultants as required.
* Support and supervise junior medical staff and contribute to the education of medical students.

About you Ideal candidates for this role will have:
* Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
* Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrates integrity, strong communication skills, teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, compassion, empathy and respect.
* Shows developing competence in clinical practice with an interest in Obstetrics & gynaecology.
* Ability to purse form and self-directed learning and contribute to teaching of junior staff and students.
