What's the role?
We're looking for a skilled Siebel Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gold Coast or Sydney and contribute to one of Australia's largest transformation programs. Key Responsibilities
* Apply deep systems expertise to inform architecture and solution design, ensuring high-quality outcomes for the business.
* Provide technical and domain consultation across the wider IT community to enhance solution quality and system robustness.
* Collaborate with architects, business analysts, project managers, SMEs, and solution providers to contribute to accurate and timely cost estimates for design and development phases.
* Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex service issues across infrastructure and applications during the development lifecycle.
* Work closely with other engineers and stakeholders in a complex, multi-disciplinary project environment.
* Ensure adherence to Westpac's standards and processes to meet regulatory obligations.
What do I need?
* Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a major in Software Engineering (or equivalent).
* 7+ years of experience in IT, primarily in systems development, support, and maintenance.
* Hands‐on experience with Oracle Customer Hub (Siebel UCM) and Informatica.
* Strong background in systems integration.
* Expert knowledge in at least one technical specialism (e.g., domain or programming language).
