Your new roleAs an APS5 Finance Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day financial operations and supporting key corporate initiatives. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you'll handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, payment runs, and month-end processes. You'll also assist with audits, prepare Business Activity Statements, and provide financial advice to internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and ability to work independently will make a real impact.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, receivable, and purchasing functions
* Strong understanding of FMIS systems (TechnologyOne preferred)
* Ability to process transactions and analyse financial data
* Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Desirable: Tertiary accounting qualifications
