OverviewSenior Consultant/Manager | Investor Advisory - Infrastructure Economist / Business Case Adviser at Arup.
The role supports the Investor Advisory offering across the Asia Pacific region, based in Sydney.
You will help shape the future of Arup's Investor Advisory business, including project delivery, winning work, technical advice, client engagement and development opportunities.
You will provide economic, business case and commercial advice on infrastructure projects across transport, housing, water, energy, maritime and international development.ResponsibilitiesYou will provide timely and quality economic and commercial advice to clients, addressing their requirements effectively and drawing on your experience.You will build and maintain trust with clients through consistent, reliable support and by providing strategic insights.You will manage the delivery of economic and commercial analysis, supported by a team of analysts.
You will also support multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects led by other parts of the business.You will manage or support the wider team in the development of proposals to respond to client requests for our services.QualificationsRecognised relevant tertiary qualifications in economics, commerce, finance or similar relevant area of expertiseDemonstrated knowledge of the infrastructure sector or specialist areas, as evidenced through at least 3-4 years experience in the sectorAbility to uphold high standards in work, meticulously reviewing all aspects to ensure accuracy and completenessUnderstanding of client needs (both internal and external), and ability to effectively and efficiently manage the issues which may impact project outcomesAbility to maintain personal effectiveness, manage workload and build team relationships, both under normal circumstances and at times of pressureWhat We OfferHybrid working policy & flexible working hoursPaid parental leave for the primary carer of 16 weeks or 32 weeks at half pay and as well as generous unpaid leave benefitsPaid parental leave for the non-primary carer of 4 weeks plus the opportunity to access extra paid and unpaid leave if you later become the primary carerBirthday leaveInternational mobility opportunitiesInsurances (life & income protection)Interest free solar energy and bicycle loansNovated car leaseOvasaver including discounts, vouchers, cashback, and exclusive offers on more than 300 retailersEqual OpportunityArup is an equal opportunity employer that actively promotes and nurtures a diverse and inclusive workforce.
