Provide technical leadership, guiding complex electrical engineering projects and driving innovation in the field while ensuring adherence to quality standards and project objectives.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Develop electrical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design
Provide project review of electrical deliverables
Coordinate designs and drafts people
Review progress and schedule
Ability to create, improve and monitor work practices relating to Electrical/Instrument Engineering methods
Review/create standards for business
Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements
Education and Experience
Industry related higher education degree
Significant (> 25 years) minerals process plant design experience
Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
Engineering delivery experience
Work in team environment.
Allocate work to others and monitor progress thereof
Skills and Experience
High level communication skills – written and verbal
Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
Ability to produce study estimates
Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
Knowledge of databases and version control
Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
Extensive industry contacts and ability to win the confidence of Clients through business development
