Plant Mechanic Specialist – Machine Rebuilds

Mining Rebuilds Workshop in Welshpool, WA, is the hub for cost-effective Caterpillar equipment rebuilds and repairs. We specialise in certified rebuilds, powertrain components, and custom solutions, ensuring maximum performance and minimal downtime for our customers.

What You Will Do
* Responsible for completing all aspects of rebuilds and repairs for a diverse fleet of Caterpillar machines.
* Ensure that all replacements and repairs are conducted to rebuild customer CAT fleets, thereby extending their lifespan and enhancing productivity.
* Opportunity to mentor and coach less-experienced technicians and apprentices while engaged in trade-related activities.
What We Are Looking For
* Trade qualified in Mobile Plant Technology.
* Strong leadership and mentoring experience (Leading Hand/Supervisor background).
* Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills using CAT SIS.
* Experience with CAT dealership and traditional CAT fleet (OHT, Grader, Loader).
* High competence in mobile low-voltage electrical systems & air conditioning, with advanced schematic interpretation skills.
