About the Role

Seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team.

* Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety systems to meet legal and company standards.
* Provide training and maintain accurate records of incidents, accident investigations and other legally required health & safety documentation.
* Offer advice and support in the implementation of health and safety systems, procedures and policies, including incident investigation and risk management.
* Ensure all employees have adequate skills and knowledge regarding safe systems of work, policies and procedures to enable them to carry out their work in a safe, accident-free environment.
* Develop and implement health and safety initiatives across the site to continuously improve health and safety processes and performance.
* Develop and implement emergency response and crisis management plans and oversee training and preparedness for the emergency response team.


Requirements

* A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
* Tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience conducting incident investigations.
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of NSW WHS legislation.
* A high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your colleagues.
* Ability to follow a plan and resilience to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
* Positive attitude, reliability and commitment to working proactively.
* A team-player with a high level of safety awareness and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
