The Opportunity
Our team is growing and we are currently seeking an experienced
Operations Coordinator
to join our on-site team near
Mount Gravatt
on a
Full-Time
Monday to Friday basis.
As the Move Services & Events Coordinator you will be a key person who supports and assists with the effective coordination of events on campus, working closely with Campus Management / the client and other internal departments to ensure Move Services are facilitated in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
Review requests related to booking campus spaces for internal and external events
Supporting the coordination of event cleaning, security, traffic control, signage, sports area permissions, landscaping permissions
Manage, administer and validate events via the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure service activities are undertaken within identified timelines, performance standards and KPI/benchmarks
Facilitate internal events such as open days, orientation week, and exam room setup, in addition to external events like fun runs, local festivals, Xmas carols, etc.
Maintain inventory control over Facilities Storage areas
Manage and process volume work requests, developing costings lists for event booking charges and contractors
Requirements for successful applicants
Pleasant & welcoming personality with a high standard of personal presentation.
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with the ability to interact with people at all levels in a prompt, friendly & professional manner.
Computer literacy with experience in Word, Excel & other Microsoft related programs.
Tertiary education and qualifications in relevant industry (or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge and experience)
Take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
