Jefferies is a family-owned supermarket group with two established stores in Croydon Hills and Blackburn, and an exciting third store opening in Brunswick East in 2027. With a strong community presence and a supportive team culture, Jefferies is growing — and so is our need for creative talent.
We're now seeking an in-house Graphic Designer to take ownership of day-to-day creative execution, allowing our marketing team to focus on strategy and brand growth. This role is ideal for an experienced designer looking for a flexible, part-time position that fits comfortably around other commitments.
About the Role
* Branding assets and visual identity
* Seasonal and promotional campaigns
* Digital content (social tiles, email graphics, website assets)
* In-store signage, POS, catalogues and event collateral
* Ongoing design support across the business
This role offers scope for ownership over brand assets, template development, and day-to-day brand execution. Designers with experience across both execution and brand thinking are encouraged to bring ideas and initiative. For those more focused on execution, clear guidance and direction will be provided by the Marketing Manager to ensure consistency and confidence in delivery.
We're design-forward and value work that feels current and considered. Staying aware of evolving design trends and adapting to the changing landscape is an important part of this role, while always maintaining brand integrity.
You'll primarily work in Canva, enabling fast, consistent collaboration with the wider team. For larger or more complex projects, you'll also use Adobe Creative Suite to produce polished, high-quality assets.
Location & Flexibility
This role is highly flexible. Our marketing team works part-time and is based at Croydon Hills, and we'd love to see you in person from time to time. You're also welcome to work from home or from our Blackburn store if that suits you better. As long as work is delivered on time and to a high standard, we're flexible about where and how you work.

What We're Looking For
* Strong graphic design skills across print and digital
* Confidence in Canva (essential)
* Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
* Retail or FMCG experience (advantageous but not essential)

Pay Range
Competitive hourly rate of $38–$45 per hour, depending on experience.
