This position is accountable for the management and performance of portfolio brands through collaboration, planning, and engagement with internal and external partners. Collaborating with internal stakeholders at all levels of the company, the Brand Manager is a key contributor to the distribution and brand strategy at Aqipa.Responsibilities:End-to-end product lifecycle management, including go-to-market strategy develop and implementation.Supplier relationship and commercial management.Leadership and professional development of your team.Management of product and brand-related data/setup in SAP ERP.Identifying channel opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.Developing and implementing the promotional plan as part of a cross-functional team.Partnering with brands and external vendors to implement best-in-class point of sale and merchandising solutions.Product compliance and regulatory approval (for imported goods).Commercial performance of your brands (buying margin, inventory cover, category growth, etc.).Purchasing, product availability, and stock cover.Delivering brand growth, margin, and sales as part of a cross-functional team.Channel and out-of-channel marketing planning and execution.Deep understanding and knowledge of the market and competitive landscape.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWhat you'll need to be successful?Minimum 2 years experience working in brand or product management roles, preferably in consumer electronics or small domestic appliances(required)SAP experiencein material management, purchasing & MRP(highly regarded)Experience working in wholesale distribution, and or branded direct-to-market organizations(highly regarded)Highly capable in Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally as part of a team.Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, flexible, and challenge yourself.Experience working in wholesale distribution, and or branded direct-to-market organisations(highly regarded)Tertiary education in Business or Marketing(highly regarded)The ideal candidate will be:Passionate about consumer electronics and lifestyle appliances, keeping up to date with trending topics and products.Committed and proactive, you make things happen and are disciplined in follow-up.Highly analytical and commercially astute, you see the forest through the trees and know the numbers to drive.Naturally great with time management, coordination, planning, and prioritisation.A strong communicator who thrives in a team environment, collaboration comes naturally to you.Highly accountable, we take ownership and we do what we say we'll do.Self-aware and passionate about personal and professional development.Seeking a career, not just a job.
