About the Role
The Technical Officer Scientific Nursing is a hands‐on, dynamic role at the heart of nursing education delivery. You'll be instrumental in creating high‐quality, industry‐aligned clinical learning environments by preparing and maintaining labs, equipment and resources that bring practical nursing skills to life. Essential Requirements
* A valid Working with Children Check (required prior to commencement)
* Current registration as Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with a Nursing and Midwifery Medication Administration Certificate
* Mental Health Nursing Medication Administration Certificate
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current nursing practice, including the use of appropriate equipment in nursing procedures, medical terminology and infection control principles
* Demonstrated experience in administration, including inventory management, purchase and maintenance of equipment, and basic financial recording
* Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision in area relating to the role
Location and Work Hours
Wyong Campus – Permanent Part‐Time Part Year (14 hours/week for 41 weeks/year). Salary package up to $100,536, includes salary ($80,246 – $88,576), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro rata, based on part time hours completed).
Eligibility
To be eligible for positions at TAFE NSW, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
