A successful Science Teacher will:
Plan and deliver sequenced lessons in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science
Use assessment data to improve learning outcomes and lift student growth
Create a safe, inclusive classroom that sparks curiosity and critical thinking Integrate practical work, demonstrations, and educational technology
Communicate clearly with students and families to support progress
Your day as a Science Teacher balances explicit instruction, guided practice, and hands on investigation, with time protected for feedback and professional learning.

To thrive as a Science Teacher you will bring:
Tertiary teaching qualification and current NESA accreditation
Proven success teaching secondary Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science
Clear written and verbal communication and effective classroom management
Ability to model the college values and work within an independent school setting
Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights
Desirable for a Science Teacher:
Experience with inquiry learning, literacy in science, and data informed practice
Confidence using lab safety procedures and risk assessments
