THE COMPANY

West African Resources Limited (Company) is an ASX listed gold company (trading symbol: WAF). The Company is committed to delivering shareholder value through current open pit and underground operational activities at the Kiaka and Sanbrado Gold Operations, in addition to a well‐planned strategy of growth through targeted exploration and development opportunities. Current development activities include the Toega Gold Project (Toega) and M5 South Underground, while also extending the reserve life through drilling beneath the M1 South Underground.

SANBRADO GOLD OPERATION

The Sanbrado Gold Operation (Sanbrado) is located approximately 90km east‐southeast of the Burkina Faso capital, Ouagadougou. Sanbrado comprises both underground and open pit mining operations, with the underground mine accessed via a box‐cut and portal positioned immediately southwest of the M1 South open pit. All mines are located in close proximity of the processing plant, which features a conventional SABC milling circuit, gravity separation, and carbon‐in‐leach processing, with a nominal throughput capacity of 2.5Mtpa. In 2025, Sanbrado's production guidance was 190,000 – 210,000 ounces of gold at a site sustaining cost of US$1,350/oz. The operation has a remaining mine life of at least 10 years, averaging 200,000 ounces of gold per year.

TOEGA GOLD PROJECT

Toega is an open pit gold deposit located approximately 13km southwest of Sanbrado, and will operate as a satellite mining project, providing seven years of ore feed to the Sanbrado processing plant. Toega has a defined strike length of more than 1,200m, a width of up to 430m, and has been drilled to a depth of 400m below surface. The deposit hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 21.7Mt at 1.8 g/t gold for 1,279,000 ounces of gold, and an Ore Reserve of 9.5Mt at 1.9 g/t gold for 569,000 ounces of gold.

OUR ROLE

We are seeking to employ an experienced gold Processing Manager to join our Sanbrado Gold Operations leadership team. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced processing manager who has excellent technical knowledge, recent experience managing gold processing operations and strong leadership capabilities.

Functions and accountabilities will include the following

* Manage and lead the effective and safe operation of the processing plant including metallurgical services and associated infrastructure.
* Lead metallurgy / technical performance.
* Manage the processing plant availability and performance to achieve operational and cost targets.
* Manage ore feed / supply to the processing plant from multiple sources.
* Overall accountability for safety, personnel, environmental, metallurgy and plant performance.
* Management of processing and infrastructure related supply and service contracts.
* Initiate and manage capital projects.
* Manage process related reporting and reliability systems.
* Tailings storage facility management.
* Processing risk register and risk reduction programs.

Essential to the role will be an effective working relationship with the Fixed Plant Maintenance team to ensure that general maintenance and shutdowns are planned and executed to optimise production and plant availability.

Applications are sought from senior Process Engineering professionals who have the following qualifications, skills and experience

* Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Recent employment history managing gold processing operations.
* A demonstrated employment history working as part of successful processing operations in which production, reliability, metallurgy testing, cost targets and safe working practices are achieved.
* The ability to perform, mentor and deliver high professional and technical standards.
* A well planned and executed strategy which supports training and development of skills to build a high performing team.
* A strong understanding of environmental regulations and safety standards in the mining industry.
* TSF management, including a working knowledge and application the international standards for tailings, dams and water storage management, including Global Industry Standard of Tailings Management (GISTM)
* A genuine commitment to the promotion of a safe working culture and practices.
* Management of processing related service providers and contractors.
* Working knowledge or experience working in a West African jurisdiction would be highly regarded.
