Learning and Development Coordinator
About the Role:
Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to support their learning and leadership programs across Country.
The successful candidate will work alongside Martu elders and community members to strengthen culture and leadership.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinating logistics for camps, meetings, and workshops
- Supporting Martu leaders and participants before, during, and after activities
- Building respectful relationships with Martu, partners, and staff
- Tracking travel, budgets, and equipment
- Capturing stories, photos, and feedback from program activities
Requirements:
Prior experience working with Indigenous communities, particularly Martu, is highly regarded. A strong understanding of logistics, planning, and coordination is essential. The ideal candidate should be able to build trust and communicate effectively with Martu elders and community members. Flexibility and a can-do attitude are also necessary, as the role requires frequent travel to remote locations.
