Job Overview
Busy Head Contractor, highly respected in the industry, is seeking a Contract Administrator to work on recent build projects up to $50 million. They have a strong reputation and a high rate of repeat clients. Due to ongoing project wins, they are looking for an experienced professional to join their close-knit team.
Responsibilities
Prepare cost forecasts, monitor financial status, and develop cash flow statements.
Contribute to financial reports for the Management Team.
Ensure site supervisory staff understand the project's scope of works and tender package inclusions.
Prepare tender documentation for subcontractor procurement, including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works, and tender analysis.
Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Coordinate with clients regarding progress claims to the Head Contract.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
Experience as the sole Contract Administrator on a project.
Understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues related to head contracts.
Knowledge of major building trades.
Basic estimating skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects from start to finish.
Positive, proactive attitude.
Demonstrated longevity at previous employers.
