Charters Towers Health Service is a level 3 (CSCF), non-birthing, 23 bed rural hospital with emergency and ambulatory services. Ambulatory services include community health nursing, child health nursing, midwifery group practice (non-birthing), advanced health worker, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and social work onsite.

About your opportunity:
Support and enhance the capacity of state schools with secondary students to develop structures and environments that promote the health and wellbeing of young people and to provide secondary school aged young people with access to a limited primary health care service within the school.
Work within the School Based Youth health Nurse Program framework by practising in accordance with the Program principles and guidelines, including the Queensland Health and Education Queensland School Based Youth Health Nurse Program Memorandum of Understanding and Program Management Guidelines.
