You'll work on a large, established platform that's constantly evolving and modernising workflows, building new features, and helping shape an AI-first product roadmap. What You'll Be Doing
* Build and deliver new features across a Ruby on Rails + PostgreSQL stack
* Collaborate with a small team of local and offshore engineers
* Improve and support CI/CD and DevOps workflows in AWS
* Maintain secure, compliant, and maintainable code aligned with ISO standards
* Mentor junior developers and help lift engineering practices
* Optional: contribute to front-end features (Angular), though backend is the main focus
About You
* 6+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
* Solid understanding of relational databases
* Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and modern DevOps workflows
* Brisbane-based and able to work hybrid (a few days a week in office)
* Bonus: exposure to AI/ML features or integrations
