Reporting to the Office Manager, the Team Leader will ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will lead the team by communicating goals and expectations while maintaining a safe working environment.
Location: Based at our Triabunna rendering plant on the stunning Tasmanian East Coast, you will work 4 x 12-hour shifts, rotating between day (6am–6pm) and night (6pm–6am) shifts.
What does your week look like?
Leadership: At Tassal, our people are key. Your main role will involve leading your team to complete tasks on time, answering their questions, fostering a positive team environment, and focusing on training and development.
Our Product: You will monitor our products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards, taking pride in producing high-quality Salmon Oil and Salmon Meal.
Scheduling: You will prepare staff rosters for your team and create production schedules as directed by management.
Who are we looking for?
1. Experience as a leader focused on people and building a positive team culture.
2. Experience in managing KPIs for cost, yield, and output.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
4. Licenses or willingness to obtain:
1. Confined Space
2. Working at Heights
3. EWP Yellow Card - Scissor Lift
4. First Aid
5. Chief/Fire Warden
6. Forklift Licence
