About Us
Alexandra District Health (ADH) is the major health service organisation within the Shire of Murrindindi and has a long history in health-related service provision. We provide inpatient and outpatient services including specialist medical services, operating theatre services, radiology, pathology and district nursing, as well as community health services and allied health promotion.
About the Role
The casual position involves assisting in the preparation of meals, administering food services, distributing meals in accordance with hospital policies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. All tasks must meet Food Safety Plan (FSP) objectives and uphold hospital hygiene standards. Staff are responsible for hygiene and cleanliness standards across the facility, ensuring a secure workplace for patients, clients, staff and the community.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in meal preparation and patient meal preparation.
2. Administer food services and manage food inventories.
3. Distribute meals ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
4. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, meeting FSP objectives.
5. Ensure workplace security for patients, clients, staff and community.
Qualifications and Requirements
6. Current National Criminal History Check.
7. Willingness to undertake a Working With Children Check.
8. Availability to work a rotating roster, all shifts including weekends.
