Join a dynamic team as an Apprentice Electromechanical Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an individual to join our team as an apprentice electromechanical technician. This role will involve working on electro-mechanical components of 4GT Millennium fleets.
The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with maintenance engineers to perform corrective, preventive, and overhauling tasks. They will adhere to quality systems and work within established standards.
As part of a team, the individual will complete or assist in various activities to ensure timely completion of work to specification. They will understand and follow work instructions, standard operating sheets, and task sequencing.
They will support secondary-level fault finding when required and use relevant IT systems to record progress and status of issues.
Requirements
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent with associated technical qualifications
* Dual-skilled (mechanical and electrical)
* Electrical License (Australia)
* Experience of working to procedures, work instructions, and maintenance instructions
* Knowledge and practical experience of train component maintenance
* Technical skills in fault finding, reading schematic diagrams, and working to technical instructions
* Languages competency - Written & Spoken: English
