We are seeking a motivated and commercially-minded Commercial Lawyer to join our growing team.
This is a broad generalist commercial role, offering exposure to a diverse mix of matters including business and share sales, leasing, franchising, liquor and gaming law, and corporate structuring.
You will have direct client contact, autonomy on files, and the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers who bring decades of experience and a strong industry reputation.
About The Role
* Operate as a commercial law generalist: advising on a broad range of matters including leasing, business and share sales, restructures, and finance.
* Draft, negotiate and review contracts: lease agreements, and general commercial agreements.
* Act for vendors and purchasers: in high-value commercial transactions.
* Provide practical advice: on corporate structuring, partnerships, and compliance.
* Manage matters independently: while receiving support and mentorship from senior lawyers.
* Engage directly with clients: in a highly client-facing role that values relationship-building and trust.
The Experience We Are Looking For
* Minimum 4 years' post-admission experience: in commercial law, ideally across a variety of transactional matters.
* Demonstrated strength in drafting, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
* Strong commercial instincts: and ability to deliver clear, practical legal solutions.
* Excellent communication skills: with a focus on building trusted client relationships.
* Ability to juggle competing priorities: and manage files independently with confidence.
* Meticulous attention to detail: and a genuine commitment to quality and results.
