Technical Data Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional technical professional to join our data team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tools and systems that drive business success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maths, engineering or computer science, with proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience in trading and finance is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your passion for data analysis and your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
You will work closely with our data architects to design and implement efficient data pipelines, process large datasets, and develop insightful visualizations. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our systems operate smoothly and provide accurate results.
About the Role
* Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for internal and external data sources
* Process position, trade, and market data from multiple sources
* Compute and display P&L and risk measures across various trading styles
* Judicious use of AI tooling and automated test coverage
* Identify solutions to increase automation of regular tasks
* Support ongoing production system maintenance and improvement
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Maths, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
* Proficiency in Python and SQL
* Prior experience in trading and finance (desired)
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities
Bonus Points
* Small team experience and autonomy
* Familiarity with Postgres, SvelteKit, FastAPI, Docker, Dagster, Jupyter, Grafana, Excel
