Casual and part-time positions available that offer you the flexibility you need. Enjoy a variety of shift times tailored to fit your schedule between Monday to Friday!Duties will include (but not limited to): -Assisting in the provision of individualised care - using the consumer directed care approach for our Consumers under the direction of the program Manager or designated Coordinator;Assisting Consumers with activities of daily living according to assessed needs and goals as specified in their Care Plan, such as: personal care; domestic assistance; social and emotional support; transportation; respite for carer/family members;Ensuring privacy, confidentiality and dignity of consumers and maintain professional working relationship at all times;Responding to emergency situations using first aid within the responsibilities of a Home Care Employee;Reporting and maintaining appropriate written records regarding consumer care;Reporting of any Incidents and Hazards identified during your working day and working with the Home Care Manager to implement control measuresHold a current Australian Driver’s LicenceA registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle and willingness to use for consumer servicesWhat you bringA Certificate III in Individual Support (or working towards)The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care dutiesAn understanding of the Consumer Directed Care and Person-Centred Care principlesCare skills that are driven by compassion and empathyExperience in Aged Care desirableCurrent First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Excellent communication skillsTeam player who is highly motivated and ability to work autonomouslyConfidence in use of technologyWe OfferMonday to Friday work availableWork life balance with flexible rostering and a range of shift timesAttractive not-for-profit salary packaging optionsOngoing training and development to build your careerStaff wellness programsEmployee Assistance ProgramUp to $500 retention bonus for permanent appointmentsWe offer paid travel time and KMPre-Employment ScreeningThe successful candidate is required to have completed/willingness to undertake the following:-Vaccinated (at least 2 doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine) in accordance with UPA’s vaccination policy.
