Job Title: Group Manager
This is a leadership role that requires an experienced Group Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical services projects across various sectors including commercial, residential and healthcare.
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing excellent service and technical expertise. The team is involved in a wide range of projects including some of the largest private and public hospital works in ACT.
* Deliver mechanical services projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
* Oversee the design and documentation process for mechanical services, working closely with engineers and other stakeholders.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, promoting career development and skill acquisition.
* Build strong relationships with clients, responding promptly to their needs and attending meetings and inspections as required.
* Collaborate with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical services design documentation.
* Previous experience with electrification of Mechanical Services is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Comprehensive understanding of relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly preferred.
* Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit and Camel.
